Believe

It is hard for one to believe that they can escape the horrors of domestic violence but you can…Believe!…I escaped.  Most of you believe you are on this alone, but you’re not…Believe me there are people out there who want to help.  Most stay stuck in a rut thinking this is what they deserve, but it’s not…Believe…Believe in your heart that you deserve so much better.  Believe that you can escape that life of pain and misery…Believe that you are worth so much more than you are allowing yourself…Believe.  You are someone special that deserves to be treated in that manner…Believe!  You are important and the life you are living is not the life you were meant to live…Believe!  You can escape, you can start life anew…Believe!  For those of you whom have children, there are places for you to go…Believe.  Oh I know, you heard the threats made to you, but you don’t have to listen to them…Believe!  If you don’t believe in yourself and that things will be better then they can’t be.  Do not limit yourself…Believe!  Believe in a better life…Believe that there are people out there that can help you…Believe that you and your children deserve better…Believe!  If you don’t try to improve your situation, then how can you improve your life?…Believe!  It’s not that hard…Believe!  Stop procrastinating and start doing something for yourself, for your children, for the loved ones that worry about you…Believe!  You can escape and you can survive…Believe!…I did and I Believe! For those of you needing help please contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline…1-800-799-7233…Believe…They can and will help…The call is free and you will be too…Believe…Nothing is more important than your well being…Believe!
